NRI House Wives - Psychiatric Problems?

NRI House Wives - Psychiatric Problems?

It was increasingly observed that many NRI House Wives face emotional, cultural, social challenges in America. The isolation from community activity is the biggest culprit. Most of the NRI's are Caste Hindus. They bring their Caste affiliations and feelings with them. In their adopted countries they tend to form associations based on Caste. And within those Caste associations they fight with each other (Caste in-fighting) for fictitious (imaginary) power control. In-fighting in TANA is once such example.

This social isolation plus indifferent NRI husband completely destroy the confidence in NRI house Wife. In many cases they don't know how to

1) Drive (limited mobility)
2) Speak in English
3) Seek help
4) Work (not allowed to work)
5) Break the isolation
6) Prevent unwanted pregnancies
7) Protect from abusing Husband and in-laws
8) Over come fear of social pressures back home
9) Financially independent
10) Make Friends (Caste barriers)
11) Find same age friends

Their misery is compounded by lack of

The Committee or Management of Temples collect money from you and install one more Idol, in addition to several hundreds already there. They never bother about individual's social and psychological needs. No Psychiatric counselors at Temples. No social counselors at Temples. The Priests are not trained to address social and psychological challenges facing by ordinary Hindus. The Priests are only trained in to changing cloths of idols, and parrot limited mantras that they learned earlier.

Ailments and diseases that are effecting NRI Wives.
1) Blood Pressure
2) Mental Break down
3)
